The Research Support and Curricular Technology team is very happy to announce that we have added a new member to our team! Kate Bengtson joined the college on August 12 in the role of Instructional Technology Specialist. Kate will be supporting a variety of instructional technologies, including Moodle, Digication and WordPress, and will be working with faculty to incorporate those and other technology into courses. Her office is located on the second floor of Shain Library.
Kate studied psychology at Yale University and received an MLIS from San Jose State University. Her previous work was in public libraries in a number of different capacities, but she is looking forward to being back on a college campus. When she’s not at work, Kate enjoys reading, geocaching, cross-stitching, and enjoying time with her family. Kate looks forward to working with the Connecticut College community!
