Library & Information Technology, Center for Teaching & Learning, and the Writing Center invite you to join a faculty learning community focused on the practical applications of generative AI to improve teaching and learning. Our goal is to collaboratively explore how AI can be integrated into your courses, and to support one another in rethinking assignments and course design.
This learning community is specifically for faculty who are actively using AI or planning to do so this semester in their classes. Our discussions will center on your real-world experiences and classroom applications of AI, complemented by selected readings and activities to help us stay current with new developments and tools.
If you’re ready to dive into the practical side of AI in education, this community is for you. Let’s work together to innovate and enhance our teaching practices with AI. Please complete this form to express your interest in participating by Tuesday, September 3. We will send an email to the cohort with details for our first meeting on September 10.
Meeting dates are scheduled on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00pm: September 10 + 24, October 15 + 29, November 12, December 10.
