We recently spoke with Luis Gonzalez, Associate Professor of Hispanic Studies, to talk about his use of technology in the classroom. In this video, Dr. Gonzalez discusses his use of Moodle quizzes in intermediate Spanish classes. His students took quizzes in Moodle ahead of class meetings, giving Dr. Gonzalez a sense of how much they understood. The quizzes also allowed him to spend more class time discussing the readings with students instead of explaining the content because, he found, they arrived better prepared for discussion.
